Belarus-Kenya
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kenya were established on November 17, 1993.
March 3, 2021 H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya Mr. Pavel Vziatkin presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Kenya H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta.

Official contacts: in May 2017, the President of the Republic of Belarus H.E. Mr. Aleksandr Lukashenko met with the President of the Republic of Kenya H.E. Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta in the framework of the International Cooperation Forum “One Belt and One Road” (Beijing, China).
From 16 to 17 October 2014, a Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus H.E. Mr. Valentin Rybakov visited the Republic of Kenya. During the visit, the 1st round of ministerial consultations took place, in which the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya H.E. Amb. Amina Mohamed took part from the Kenyan Side.
On February 7, 2015, within the framework of the 51st Munich Security Conference, a meeting took place between the foreign ministers of Belarus and Kenya.
In the period from 2015 to 2018, Belarusian delegations headed by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus visited Kenya.
The legal base of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kenya is under development. An Agreement on Cooperation between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed on July 15, 2021. The following documents are currently being worked on: Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigations of the Republic of Kenya; Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technologies of the Republic of Kenya; Memorandum on Cooperation between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya; Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Kenya on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service (official) passports; Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Kenya on the establishment of a joint permanent commission on co-operation.

Traditional articles of Belarusian exports to Kenya are potash and mineral mixed fertilizers, newsprint, printed products. The basis of the Kenyan import to Belarus is formed by the supply of flowers and buds, nuts, vegetables and fruits, coffee, tea, etc.
