Ambassador of Belarus to Kenya D.Krasouski delivers a statement at the 174rd meeting of the UNEP Committee of CPR

On June 26, 2026 Ambassador of Belarus to Kenya and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Mr. Dzmitry Krasouski, participated in the 174rd meeting of the UNEP Committee of Permanent Representatives, which was held at UN Headquarters in Nairobi.

During the Committee's deliberations, the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission delivered a statement regarding the attack on a Belarusian civilian bus in Bryansk region of Russia, which was carrying Belarusian citizens, including children, and strongly condemned any acts of violence directed against civilians. 

The Permanent Representative emphasized the need for an immediate, objective and impartial investigation into this tragedy, as the protection of children and the civilian population is the foundation upon which the entire edifice of international cooperation collapses.
