Ambassador of Belarus Pavel Vziatkin meets the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Kenya

April 8, 2021 Ambassador P.V. Vzyatkin held a meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Kenya Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u, Executive Director of the African Economic Research Consortium.
During the meeting the state of cooperation between Belarus and Kenya in the economic sphere, promising areas for joint development and specific measures necessary to be taken to intensify bilateral economic interaction, including that in the context of the impact of the pandemic on the economy and business environment of Kenya, were discussed.
The Ambassador suggested elaboration of a plan for joint activity of the Embassy and the Honorary Consul in 2021, specifying priority areas. The sides agreed to hold regular meetings to discuss and coordinate joint actions aimed at developing economic cooperation and increasing Belarusian exports to Kenya.
