Ambassador of Belarus Pavel Vziatkin meets the Ambassador of Ethiopia

May 6, 2021, Pavel Vziatkin, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya, met with Mr. Meles Alem, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Republic of Kenya.

The Heads of the Diplomatic Missions of Belarus and Ethiopia exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the upcoming Victory Day of May 9 in Belarus and the past Ethiopian Patriots Victory Day of May 5.

The Ambassador of Belarus stressed the readiness to develop bilateral relations with Ethiopia in a wide range of areas, with an emphasis on political, trade and economic cooperation, and suggested stepping up work on the formation of a legal framework for bilateral cooperation. The Ambassadors exchanged views on trending issues in the modern world politics.

The Ambassador of Ethiopia Meles Alem agreed with the necessity to intensify joint work in the proposed areas.

The Ambassadors expressed their interest in continuing contacts on a regular basis.
