Presentation of Credentials of H.E. Ambassador Mr. Pavel Vziatkin to H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, President of Kenya
03.03.2021March 3, 2021, Pavel Vziatkin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya, presented his credentials to Uhuru Kenyatta, the President of the Republic of Kenya.
The Ambassador of Belarus assured the President of Kenya of the commitment of the Belarusian state to building strong and friendly relations with the Republic of Kenya, which are to be based on mutual trust and respect.
The importance of developing political dialogue at different levels, as well as the formation and extension of the legal framework of bilateral relations was noted. The Ambassador prioritized developing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Kenya, noting that the two countries' economies are mutually complementary.
In his turn U.Kenyatta, the President of Kenya, stressed Kenya’s readiness to develop bilateral relations with the Republic of Belarus in all areas, including the exchange of visits of official delegations. The Head of the Kenyan State expressed hope for strengthening partnership relations with the Republic of Belarus in the near future, noting that Kenya is open for trade and economic cooperation. President Kenyatta stressed that the Republic of Belarus has a well-developed machinery sector, in particular profound in production of agricultural machinery. According to the President, it sets an opportunity for two countries’ cooperation in agriculture.
The President of Kenya noted that the successful development of bilateral relations in these areas can be achieved through active joint work, and wished success to the Ambassador in the implementation of the plans.
