Ambassador of Belarus Pavel Vziatkin meets the President of KNCCI

April 20, 2021 Ambassador of Belarus to Kenya Pavel Vziatkin held a meeting with Mr. Richard Ngatia, the President of the Kenyan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).

During the meeting possible usage of the potential of the chambers of commerce and industry in intensifying economic cooperation between Belarus and Kenya was discussed. The Ambassador of Belarus suggest to consider formation of an organizational and legal framework for enhancing contacts between the businesses of Belarus and Kenya, as well as to set a number of initiatives to support bilateral trade in practice.

The Head of the Kenyan Chamber of Commerce and Industry was conveyed with the proposals from the BelCCI on the development of cooperation between the chambers and an invitation for business of Kenya to visit Belarus and hold B2B meetings.

The President of the KNCCI stressed the practical focus of the Chamber activities and expressed interest in specifying promising areas of cooperation in the interests of the two countries business. Mr. Ngatia expressed his readiness to take practical steps to develop cooperation between the Belarusian and Kenyan businesses.
