Ambassador of Belarus D.Krasouski presents his Credentials to the President of Ethiopia

On January 15, 2026 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya and to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (in concurrency), Dzmitry Krasouski, presented his Credentials to the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Taye Atske Selassie. 
During the ceremony the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission expressed warm greetings on the Festive Season and sincere wishes with his personal anniversary on behalf of Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko and the Belarusian nation. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for Ethiopia's support in obtaining Belarus status of BRICS’ partner-country.
Dzmitry Krasouski emphasized the consistently friendly nature of bilateral relations with Ethiopia, as well as the commitment to further deepening relations in all areas – political, trade and economic, educational and cultural.

In the course of his speech, the Ambassador renewed the invitation to the President of Ethiopia, Taye Atske Selassie, to pay an official visit to Belarus, which will be a practical step to implementing bilateral agreements. 
At the end of the Ceremony, the President of Ethiopia expressed his readiness to provide all necessary assistance to the Belarusian diplomatic mission and wished the Ambassador success in fulfilling his duties for the further strengthening of relations between Belarus and Ethiopia
